I may not be able to get one G, but how I about I buy you two. I had hoped for $1300!

Wow! Congrats! That is great! Since you are feeling generous, if you wanted to throw some extra coin out there for a happy ending for your good bud, I won't fight it. :)
All I can say is DAMN! I am in the wrong business. How long did it take you to get the character that high?
Final parting comment (shot? :) ): does this mean some people will now stop wondering if you're ever going to grow up? ;)

I'm sure we'll do some drinking with it.;) Thanks!
This character is around 3 years 2 months old or so; however, there was a 3 month period where the account was closed and another 6 months where I didn't pay much attention to it.
The only reason he is so good is the skill system in Eve is time-based, not action/level based like so many MMOG's. My lack of attention would have made him worthless in any other game. However, in Eve, all I had to do was go in-game, set another skill to train, and leave it for 2 weeks before I had to do it again.
Anyhow, I think I am going to put up most likely a two-part post about what things like this mean in terms of a true 'new economy.' There is a ton of money to be made in purely imaginitive markets; the trick is figuring out which will succeed and which will fail. For a change, I am getting out of this one on what I think is the top of the bell curve.
I even have another character still in-game, almost as good as this one, and better in some ways.

hey moneybags-- how 'bout throwing in a pair of manolo blahniks for the best friend?
sounds like it's quite lucrative to have geeky inner children; i should have had one of those instead of hellboy, eh? just don't think cyberhugs would be the same, though....
